Integrity and Honesty

Helo world, today I would like to briefly discuss the topic of Integrity and Honesty.  I will start with a couple of definitions : Integrity- an undivided or unbroken completeness or totality with nothing wanting; it is a a concept that  has to do with perceived consistency of actions, values, methods, measures, principles, expectations and outcome.

Integrity is one of the most important attributes anyone should and can have.  Whether a business man or business woman integrity is desired by many.  Without integrity the world will fall apart, in that the issues of trust would greatly and tremendously decrease.  No one would want to do anything, buy anything or even be around people for the lack of trust which is a part of integrity.  Think about that for a moment.  No more shopping venues making that coveted profit, baby sitters would be put out of business and good friends would be hard to come by.  When some one gives you their word you expect them to follow through with what they said, and when they do the opposite the integrity factor of that person ever doing something again would drop a bit and the trust level of that individual would put you at a bit of distance.

Honesty-is speaking truth and creating trust in minds of others. This includes all varieties of communication, both verbal and non-verbal. Honesty implies a lack of deceit. A statement can be strictly true and still be dishonest if the intention of the statement is to deceive its audience.

Honesty is like the sister of integrity in that they are related by trust.  Honesty today is as easily broken as thin glass.  Honesty plays an important role in the wolrd business and non-business alike.  Honesty is rare these days, with a world presenting have truths honesty sits on the back burner. Just make sure whatever you do whether in word or deed is honest in its entirety.
